On behalf of the DeLorean Owner's Association, I am proud to welcome you to the 2011 DeLorean Eurofest to be held in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
"Eurofest 2011" will be the fifth celebration of its kind since 1993, and promises to be the greatest celebration and gathering of cars since the company closed.
You will have the opportunity to see the original site where the cars were built, talk to original factory workers and hear their experiences, see historic memorabilia relating directly to Dunmurry and Belfast not available anywhere else, enjoy presentations of newly found information and artifacts, witness and ride in cars on the original factory test track, and much much more.
Of course, in bringing your car, we will test your driving ability in the 2011 DeLorean World Autotest (that's "Autocross" for those of you from the "Colonies"). Who will take home the bragging rights next year?
Oh, you're not bringing your car? In that case, you can demonstrate your skills in the 2011 Eurofest Karting Championships.
For those visiting from far away, you will enjoy tours of many historic locations around Northern Ireland, including Carrickfergus Castle, the Titanic Quarter, Royal Court Hotel, Dunluce Castle, Giants Causeway, and Old Bushmills Distillery. You will also experience a visit to the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum where the wooden mockup of the prototype, and early test car #514 reside.
Most of all, you will experience the camaraderie and friendship only possible by visiting the people and city where our cars were born!
